Choices

What I have been doing lately:
-working
-making money
-hanging out with Erica
-paying random bills
-working
-consuming food and beverages
-occasionally sleeping
-and then working! I began working at Village Tavern two months ago and have yet to clock out with less than forty hours a week. Most weeks vary from 50-60 hours

Seeing as today is my off day I should find this as my shining chance to catch up on the many responsibilities I have as an adult.

SO

What I SHOULD be doing:
-dispersing my clean laundry from the basket to my dresser drawers
-making my bed
-organizing the random stacks of books, bags/purses, and other miscellaneous objects that are bordering the outline of my room
-going to the bank so I won't look like a stripper/drug dealer anymore with my stack of one dollar bills swimming about in my purse
-going grocery shopping so I'll lay off the O'Henrys and Purple Onion diet

BUT

What I'm going to do INSTEAD:
-blog
-hang out at O'Henrys and read up on Sylvia Plath, Greek Mythology, and of course, God's Word
-lay out by my sister's pool
-eat at the new Chuy's restaurant at the Summit for lunch/dinner (dunch? linner? whatever..)
-get all dressed up just for the heck of it
-hang out with Miss Meghan Hawkes which I'm sure will involve more eating and maybe a strawberry mojito or two. :)
-sleep. a lot.

Life is full of choices. I think I'm making some good ones today.
